Let me explain this.
An OCTOPUS or Octopus card as we Hong Kong people know it, is a card that we swipe. It has a microchip that has it’s own number and lets us charge it with money to be able to buy at McDonald’s, 7-11 or any other fast food chain. Also, that card is used to be able to pay our bus fares, subway fares, tram fares and ferry fares.
Oh, the money in the Octopus card never expires.
